Bi-directional flow control valves

Installation information

These valves can be set and locked to restrict flow in both directions. A needle valve is a variable orifice used to restrict flow when pressure compensation is not required.

Operation

Flow setting can be made by rotating the steel knurled hand-knob fitted with a detent that maintains the required position not affected by vibration in the plant. The valve opening to flow is in linear relationship to the hand-knob position.
